What if we could fit a smart device to your Class-8 tractors that’s proven to increase fuel economy by 15%? As an example, on a 200 truck fleet, you could safely (and legally) save $750k every year on fuel costs. That’s addvantage.
We’ll install it for free in just four hours – and you’ll see payback in just seven days. Right now if your fleet qualifies you can demo it for free. So you can see for yourself how much you’ll save before you spend a cent.
CloseAny business would appreciate a reduction of 15% or more of one of their major costs. But, as a trucking company, you’ll be just as interested in reducing harmful emissions from your fleet. So, you’ll be pleased to find that installing addvantage not only improves fuel economy, it also results in reductions of harmful emissions and particulate matter.
SEE MORECO₂ is created as a by-product of burning diesel fuel. With addvantage, less diesel is burned for every mile travelled. This means less CO₂ is created as a by-product. As a result, CO₂ emissions are reduced.
In a conventional Class-8 diesel engine, some of the diesel is still burning as it enters the exhaust. It is this unburned diesel that creates lots of large particulate matter. With addvantage, the diesel burns faster. This delivers a reduction in PM.

The science behind
addvantage.
A precise amount of LPG (propane) is injected into the intake air to create a mix of air and LPG. Its job is to enhance combustion.
This improves efficiency of the burn, delivering an increase in fuel-efficiency of 15% or more. That’ll save you around 45 cents per gallon.
addvantage uses telemetry data from your truck’s own electronic controls to calculate the exact amount of LPG to inject for each revolution. This precision is how addvantage delivers such exceptional fuel economy – proven in the real world.
Under the hood
addvantage in 30 seconds
The addvantage components in a nutshell
1 | addvantage receives information from the truck’s ECU and continuously monitors the available vehicle telematics. |
---|
2 | The addvantage ACU controls the system. It uses the live telemetry of speed, weight, gradient and driving conditions and then calculates the precise quantity and timing of LPG injection. |
---|
3 | Two addvantage fuel injectors deliver LPG directly into the intake air-stream for each engine revolution. The injection module also houses a pressure sensor and electronic shut-off valve. |
---|
4 | A small LPG tank also incorporates a pressure regulator and a manual shut-off valve. Various tank shapes and sizes are available to any application. |

addvantage is the result of more than a decade of research and development in Europe with TT Electronics and rigorous testing under all conceivable conditions. Incorporating the latest technologies, methodologies and equipment, addvantage units undergo extensive stress testing to ensure maximum reliability and dependability.
So, we’re proud to be partnered with TT Electronics to build addvantage right here in the USA – in Perry, OH. TT Electronics is the global leader in smart, rugged, component technology for the automotive, aeronautic, aerospace and military industries. They have built and tested addvantage to the highest possible standards.
Transforming how a diesel engine works is no small claim. But we’ve developed and tested addvantage for ten years in Europe, so we know it works. Now you can find out for yourself with our no-risk, free demo. We’ll install addvantage in four hours. We’ll run some side-by-side tests, calculating the improvement addvantage delivers.
After that, it’s yours to keep for 30 days. We’ll happily remove addvantage if you’re not convinced, but we’re confident you’ll appreciate saving 4.5 cents per mile. That’s $4,500 net per truck each year.
Is addvantage dual-fuel technology?
No. Dual-fuel is a blend of diesel and about 20% LPG. This results in (small) savings because LPG is cheaper than diesel. By contrast, addvantage injects precise amounts of LPG into the intake air – and delivers far greater savings.
Is addvantage a fuel additive?
No. Conventional fuel additives are added in small quantities to the diesel in the tank and can deliver small economy gains. addvantage is different. Injected directly into the intake air, addvantage increases combustion efficiency, improving fuel economy by upwards of 15%.
Will addvantage damage my engine?
No, and we guarantee it. The addition of LPG to diesel is proven not to damage engines. In fact, engine life is potentially extended as it burns slightly cooler, as well as being more efficient. Of course, you want to be 100% sure, so we back up every installation with a comprehensive warranty and liability insurance policy which provides cover up to $1 million.
Will addvantage reduce emissions?
Yes. Because the diesel burns more efficiently, and cooler, combustion produces less emissions. Trials in Europe show significant reductions in engine out NOx and CO₂.
How much does addvantage cost?
For a limited period, each addvantage unit costs $200 per month, per truck. And, right now, addvantage is free to install.
How long does addvantage last?
Manufactured to exacting OEM specifications by a leading global manufacturer TT Electronics, addvantage has a lifespan in excess of ten years – generating net lifetime savings of up to $50,000 per truck. If your addvantage unit fails, we’ll replace it free of charge.
Will addvantage invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty?
Each manufacturer has different exclusions and policies in relation to retrofit products so, to provide complete peace of mind, every addvantage installation comes with a comprehensive warranty and liability insurance policy which provides cover up to $1 million.
How has addvantage performed in long-term tests?
Long-term tests in Europe have exceeded expectations. And these aren’t lab tests. These use real trucks on real roads. They show that addvantage works and is proven to deliver upwards of 15% savings.
Is addvantage made in the USA?
Although designed in Europe, addvantage is manufactured in Perry, Ohio by TT Electronics. With more than 4100 employees, operating from 27 locations globally, TT Electronics is a world-class manufacturer and we’re proud of our relationship.
How can we test addvantage for ourselves?
addvantage is available now for a 30-day free demo. We’ll install it in four hours and then help you measure the improvements. We’ll also put together a full report showing the savings you’ll achieve when you implement addvantage across your entire fleet. Of course, we’ll happily remove addvantage at the end of your test, but we think you’ll want to keep it.
When will addvantage be available?
It’s available now for free trial by qualifying fleets. Inventory is currently limited and addvantage won’t be available in large quantities until later in 2019. But if you trial addvantage now you’ll get priority installation slots for the rest of your fleet.
